During the set up of my new business I engaged Cheryl to take a number of images that could be used in both digital and print media. Cheryl took time to understand what our requirements were and made some excellent suggestions prior to the shoot. This resulted in us achieving what we set out to do and an impressively quick deliverly of images to our web developer and brand consultant.I'd recommend Cheryl to any business (new or old) requiring professional digital photography.

We used Cheryl Scott Photography for a family function over Xmas 2015. Cheryl took on this task very professionally and the resulting photographs showed her skill in not only photography but in organising a large group of adults and children into place to get the most out of the time we had.
Cheryl made the whole process easy and fun and followed up with helping us choose one of the photos to be enlarged and framed.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Cheryl Scott to anyone that wants a quality photographer.

Our family engaged Cheryl to capture a selection of photos of farm and family in an album style book, after seeing some previous work she had produced. In our opinion, Cheryl produced an album that captured the essence of both family and farm and captured images that we take for granted. Our album was designed to capture a moment in time and some previous history, for family here and overseas. It has also proved to be a useful marketing tool.
Cheryl’s artistic flair, value, great communications, easy style and practical options and advice gave us plenty of selection to choose from, to which end, the great comments and feedback we have received, tells us we hit the mark on what we wanted. Our only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner.

For someone who has self taught herself photography you do an amazing job Cheryl. At first I thought it was as simple as you coming along and taking a few pics and we could just jumble them together to tell a story but OH NO, Cheryl had a natural flair for what was required and was very focused on getting the result we wanted. I caused some frustration to Cheryl I'm sure as she had embraced the objective from the brief I gave her at the very start to create an ongoing development story in pictures for my father whose intentions are to develop Matapiro Station to be the best it can be. One thing led to another and more on farm development took place so back came Cheryl for more additions. A whole year and half later and edition 3 was published(1 and 2 were drafts). I just want to thank you Cheryl for your perseverance and commitment to complete the book to where we have come to so far. The best thing for us is we now have what we think is a great outcome with a book that we can add to over the years as the story unfolds.

Cheryl took something that we see every day (our farm) and made us see it through different eyes and to appreciate it in a whole new light! Cheryl spent the time to reach every corner and record our property, the beautiful views and small details that captured the essence of our farm. We now have an album of photos that is a joy to share with family and friends and in times of challenges (i.e. droughts!) a comforting reminder that our farm can grow grass and is something to treasure. It was great to be able to include historic photos too.

The Family Photo!!!!!!!! I have to say I hate it, trying to get 5 people to all look half decent in one photo. Yeah right! Well Cheryl managed to get not one but heaps that we are really stoked with. I even enjoyed the actual posing for the photos as Cheryl was so relaxed with us that we actually had a good time and laughed quite a bit throughout what I thought was going to be an ordeal. Fun afternoon. Many thanks again Cheryl for our awesome photos. Lyn
